Parent Council Meeting on 5th October.

posted 30 Sep 2015, 07:50 by Braidwood Primary Web

Can you help? We urgently need new members for our Parent Council. Our next meeting is on Monday 5th October at 7.30pm. The Council meets roughly once a term, and your help would be very much appreciated in organising some events/activities  for the benefit of our children. Our next venture is organising the forthcoming Hallowe'en Disco, which is always very popular.
We look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Correction and request.

                                               ***Correction from previous newsletter.***
Please note the revised date for the Primary 6 Assembly date is: FRIDAY 4th December.  ( We had intimated in a newsletter that this would be the date for Primary 5 Assembly, but this will now be later on in the year.)

The Schools Modernisation Team has received a complaint about parents/carers parking near the school while dropping off and collecting children.
Can we please respectfully ask ALL parents and carers not to park on pavements for the safety of everyone. We would also encourage all car drivers to be considerate towards local residents.

Groundwork has still to be completed and this will be done over the next few months.
For safety reasons the contractors will only work when the children are inside the building.

Some work has still to be completed at the Main Gate and pavements around it.

Mrs Scott and Mr Desport will be on hand from 8.30am to assist the children into the grounds.

What a fantastic effort by our Gala Committee. The Braidwood globe "BPS Superheroes Save The Planet" was spectacular, and worthy of the praise and admiration of the crowds passing by.
